• We think responsibly about the future

Forests suffer from the effects of climate change. Previous actions related solely to forest management are no longer sufficient. Therefore, the State Forests, as a socially responsible organization, are engaging in the green transformation of the Polish economy.

  • We actively counteract climate change

We do not only conduct actions aimed at adapting forests and forestry to climate change, such as developing small water retention or forest fire protection systems, but we also undertake initiatives aimed at addressing their causes.

  • We support Poland's energy transition

We introduce zero-emission economy solutions in various areas of the State Forests' activities: infrastructure, production, and transportation. Three development projects serve the implementation of this strategic approach: 'Forest of Energy', 'Carbon Forests', and 'Improving the energy efficiency of buildings in the State Forests'.
