🌳 On July 11, 2024, an inspiring technical meeting took place between the State Forests and Rawlplug from Wrocław. The discussions focused on strategies for sourcing and managing energy from renewable sources, including innovative solutions such as agrophotovoltaics, energy storage systems, and thermal storage. Agrophotovoltaics is a technology that enables simultaneous energy production and efficient use of the land beneath the installation (e.g., for tree seedlings).
Thanks to photovoltaics, energy storage, and other innovations, Rawlplug is aiming for 80% energy independence. The State Forests are also moving in this direction.
